Dear Friends,
The holidays are a wonderful season; a time of thanksgiving and gifts, a time of reflection and learning from the past, and a time of new beginnings. That’s what makes this season so beautiful! It is a time to take inventory of all the things that made the year special. As we go through these processes at Homegrown Herbalist, we need to take a moment to express our sincere thanks to you, our patrons and students. It’s been a truly wonderful year, and you have been a significant part of that.
We feel very blessed! Not only do we get to interact with incredible healing plants on a daily basis, but herbal supplements and herbal education attract the best kind of customers—salt-of-the-earth, nurturing, humble, beautiful souls. So working for HomeGrown is really a joy because it connects us with people like you. It has been such an honor to serve you this year and we’re grateful for your support.
As wonderful as the holidays are, we know that for some it can be a difficult time. We are reminded of financial shortcomings, broken health, broken relationships and lost loved ones. May we find solace as we turn our hearts toward that Babe in a Manger whose birth we celebrate; the Son of God, the Master Healer who came to this world to bless, to love, to serve and to save those in need. May we all follow that great example. May we all look for opportunities to be His hands in blessing and serving others, especially this time of year when there are people with struggles and hearts that need healing. Those who do so often find that loving and serving others in need can be the sweetest healing balm for their own pains as well.
We wish you all a season filled with joy, peace, and true healing.

I am so thankful that somehow this past year I came upon your website. I just retired from 30 years as a midwife. I have used herbs with my clients over the years. I knew that there was so much more for me to learn. I will be signing up for your school at the beginning of the year.

I’ve wanted to signup before but time really didn’t allow then but now is different. I can’t survive THIS crazy world without my faith and none of us will do well without more herbalist truly interested in helping us.
