What Does an Herbalist Veterinarian Take For Covid-19? Ivermectin or Herbs? Doc Jones Tells All!

Humans Using Ivermectin For Coronavirus - Veterinarian & Naturopath Doc Jones Tells All

I’ve recently received approximately a bazillion emails and texts with questions about the drug Ivermectin and its use in the fight against Covid-19 infections. I often scratch my head a bit when I get these emails as my company is called HomeGrown Herbalist not HomeGrown Pharmacist. But I guess it’s not too surprising. I did spend many years sitting in dark lecture halls getting pharmacology facts crammed into my noggin by professors in veterinary school. Add to that the fact that I’ve used hundreds of gallons of Ivermectin over the past 30 years on cattle, horses, pigs, goats and dogs but am also a naturopath and clinical herbalist (which should put me squarely in the camp of folks that eschew such pharmacological interventions) and I guess it becomes an interesting question.

So, what do I think about Ivermectin? Well I think it’s a great wormer for livestock. It’s also good for lice or mange. You can use it in dogs too. I’ve treated lots of dogs for mange with Ivermectin over the years. Just don’t give it to collies. It melts their brains. It’s much safer in other dog breeds either because their brains are too hard to melt (Schnauzers and dachshunds) or they don’t have brains (Labradors and beagles).

Ivermectin is also approved for oral use in humans as a little pill for worms and mange and lice and such. Taken properly with a prescription for those conditions, it’s pretty safe. Taken improperly it’s good for causing nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hypotension (low blood pressure), dizziness, ataxia (problems with balance), seizures, coma, and death. But don’t feel too bad about that. Lots of other “safe” pharmaceuticals have similarly bad effects if used improperly. Another nice benefit of having your doctor prescribe it is that he’ll make sure that any other meds you’re taking don’t interact badly with it.

But what about Covid-19? Doesn’t the Internet say Ivermectin kills Covid-19?

Yes, it does but the internet says a lot of really stupid and dangerous things. I’ve seen a lot of articles on the internet that say some really inaccurate and dangerous things about how to “safely” use Ivermectin for Covid. The fact is that just because something is posted on the internet doesn’t make it gospel truth. Don’t even get me started on all the herbal misinformation that’s out there as well. Some of it is mind-bogglingly erroneous . If you want to really understand something, don’t use Google. Use Google Scholar or The Bielefeld Academic Search Engine. Then at least you can read real scientific studies and get some real information. Granted some of those studies are garbage as well, but your odds of getting real data are better than you’ll get from some blogger that knows what they’re saying is true because they saw it on Instagram or YouTube.

So, what does the real research show about Ivermectin? It shows that in test tubes Ivermectin has been very effective at interrupting viral replication of the Covid-19 virus in infected cells. I’ve also recently found some good studies showing Ivermectin being effective in real, live humans with Covid. So, from the studies I’ve read on the in-vitro and live human work that has been done, it seems likely that Ivermectin has real promise as a medication for Covid cases. So, if you can find a physician that will prescribe it and get the dosing right for you, it may be helpful.

What I’m not saying is that since there are some promising studies about human Ivermectin drugs, we should all go down to the local feed store and buy some injectable cattle wormer or pour-on delousing products that contain Ivermectin and treat ourselves. Those products aren’t formulated for use in humans and would be much riskier to use than the nice little Ivermectin pills your doctor would give you.

As it happens, I got Covid-19 a couple of weeks ago from this nice lady that likes to smooch me. So, did I run over to the vet clinic and grab some Ivermectin which I can buy wholesale for peanuts?

Nope. I didn’t.

Why not? Well, a better question is why would I? You see, I have lots of little green friends that have also had excellent studies showing good activity against coronaviruses. The fact is that plants have been killing coronaviruses for years and they have no idea that the exciting new Chinese one should be scarier than all the rest of them…they just think it’s a corona and kill it. Thank heavens for plant illiteracy! If they’d Googled “Covid-19” and found out how much better this corona is than the bazillion others they kill, we may have had a real problem.

So, because I’m an herbalist I chose to use herbs instead of Ivermectin to address my Covid adventure. There were several important factors contributing to this decision. First, given the choice between plants that my body knows very well how to process and which contain dozens of chemicals that do nice things or a synthetic cattle wormer that my body has no idea how to process and which contains only one chemical, I’m going to choose the plants. Second, I’m much too lazy to drive over to the vet clinic when I have a HomeGrown Herbalist Respiratory Preparedness Kit and a few other good tinctures in my cupboard.

So, what did I do exactly?

Well, the Mrs. started getting sick on Friday…just feeling dumpy and having a scratchy throat. So, of course, I started taking Immunity Support and Cold Away.

She didn’t.

The second day she was even sicker…achy, sore, and starting to cough. So I added INFXN-ShooFloo to my protocol.

She didn’t.

I told her I knew this nice herbalist that would poke the tinctures into her if she liked but she never got around to it that day…too busy working on projects in spite of her illness, like a good Idaho farm girl. The third day she was really sick, coughing like crazy and achy. One of my adult kids went to the drug store and bought a rapid Covid test. She tested positive. So, I added Artemisia annua, Pine Needle, and Chaga to my protocol, and called it “Doc’s 3 Amigos For The Respiratory System” At that point, she started taking her herbs too. We were taking all of the above about four times a day. Dosing can be found on any product page on the Info & Dosing tab.

The next day I was sick…really sore, achy, and worn out but with no respiratory symptoms. I took some Joint Support Formula and the aches and pains improved markedly. I also took some Respiratory – Cytokine Balance as it contains a lot of grape leaf which contains a lot of resveratrol which interferes with coronavirus cellular attachment and reproduction. At the end of the second day, I was done with the bug and felt pretty good. I was still tired for several days and would have a good cough or two once or twice a day but that was it.

My sweet wife, who was naughty and didn’t listen to the advice of the handsome herbalist she likes to smooch, was much sicker and had significantly more respiratory involvement. We used a lot of Respiratory-Coff which really helped the coughing. I also gave her Respiratory-EXP to get the goobers out of her lungs. Of course, she was getting the Artemisia annua, Pine Needle and Chaga, and other stuff mentioned above as well. She was much sicker than I was.

So, what do we learn from this in-depth corona case study carried out at the Jones house? First, we learn that starting your herbs the day you think you’re exposed to a bug is a much better idea than starting your herbs three days after you’re sick. Second, we learn that even though someone likes to smooch you, they may not always listen to you. Third, we learn that herbal intervention is a continuous, evolving process. In other words, the herbs or formulas you need on day two may not be the same ones you need on day five (By the way, the Respiratory Preparedness Kit comes with detailed descriptions for each of eight formulas and how, when, and why to use each one). We also learn that having the herbs on hand when you need them is a MUCH better idea than having to order them so they can arrive several days after you get sick. And, lastly, we learn that even if you’re too lazy to run down to the vet clinic and get some free Ivermectin, you can get better quite quickly if you have the right weeds around. :0)

By the way, speaking of preparing ahead of time, we will be having a wonderful online event this weekend (yes, it’ll be recorded if you can’t watch it all live). We’ll be having in-depth seminars on the immune system, auto-immune disease, leaky gut, herbal cleanses and…wait for it…Herbs and the Respiratory System where we’ll go into great detail on how to fight all sorts of respiratory illnesses including Covid-19. The program is free for enrolled students in The HomeGrown Herbalist School of Botanical Medicine but is available to non-students as well. Personally, I’d recommend enrolling in the full program. There are more than 50 of these sorts of lessons there and, if you do the math, the low enrollment price of the school is pretty much a no-brainer. :0)

So, my advice is to fill your cupboard with herbs, fill your brain with great information and, perhaps most importantly, listen to your spouse…especially if what they’re saying sounds like a really good idea. :0)

thank you for providing a bit of logic and reason to this too often heated debate. glad your green friends were able to help you thru your illness and your wife also.

  2. Barbara says:

THANKS so much ! You are so amazing and wonderful. Yes, herbs are a wonder from God! I will now have to buy some more of your potions, just in case cov decides to arrive at my house! I haven’t been sick in 40 years and that was only a minor bronchitis from being around wee ones.

xoxo Stay Healthy and so Funj!

  3. Deb Larson says:

This is Deb Larson. I attended one of your class in St. George about five years ago and have been steadily adding salves, tinctures and teas over the years. My friends and family are especially grateful for calendula, mallow and comfrey salve which I readily share. I am currently tincturing some lovely Ponderosa Pine needles I gathered in the mountains of Southern Utah. I have read on the internet (Oh no!) that ponderosa needles are toxic to cattle. Since none of my planned recipients are bovine, is it safe for them? BTW, I woke up with a sore throat a few days ago, drank 2 cups of pine needle tea throughout the morning it went away. You gotta love plants! Thanks for sharing your wisdom. Through what I’ve learned about herbs (mostly from you) there are dozens of grateful converts.

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

Ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa) often causes abortion and other issues in cattle. Other pines can cause abortion as well so I never recommend pine during pregnancy or during lactation. Ponderosa pine contains a lot more isocupressic acid than other species (some of which contain none) which is the principle problem. I prefer Red pine (Pinus resinosa).

      • Janelle says:

Hi Doc. I already made some tincture and some infused oil from Ponderosa pine needles. Should I throw it away or would it be safe to use externally?

        • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

          Hi Janelle,

Ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa) is significantly more likely to cause miscarriage and other issues during pregnancy than some of the other pines but all of the pines should be avoided during pregnancy and nursing. Ponderosa has been used for centuries by Native Americans for all of the things we’ve talked about. Like all pines, long term use can cause some kidney irritation but the pines aren’t really herbs that are taken long-term anyway. If you’re going to be on it for more than a couple of weeks, take a couple of days off every couple of weeks.

The infused oil topically is perfectly safe. I assume you’re using that for arthritis/joint pain. The tincture would work even better for that topically. :0)

    • John Fulton says:

Thanks for your side of the issue. Just had Kiddos Kamp and they made some Comfrey/Plantain salve. Starting them early. We have done hundreds and hundreds of hours of research on Covid-19 and are not intimidated by it. However, we are preparing for it. Will consider adding some great herbs to our “Kit”.
Thanks, John, ye ole lighthouse guy. We’ll keep a light on for you!

  4. AA says:

Glad you and your wife are recovered.
Thank you for posting these information.
I sent you an email two weeks ago asking your advice for Covid-19 long-hauler. Negative test, but mild symptoms reoccur.
What herbs you recommend particularly for SVT and fatigue/laziness which occurred few weeks after the initial symptoms and continued?

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

Depends what meds you’re on for the SVT (assuming you mean suprventricular tachycardia). Shoot me an email and I’ll send you some links.

      • Kathryn says:

        Hi Doc,
Yes, I too had SVT when I had covid. I had previously had a few incidents (age 70’s). No meds for it, but I do take Hawthorne, motherwort, dandelion, & Hibiscus sabdariffa daily – no further incidents so far. I have an acerola tree and tincture the cherries for my vitamin C which was amazing for my recovery. I also took colloidal silver. I never progressed to respiratory symptoms. I feel so blessed to have my herbs available, even though I can’t grow dandelion or valerian here 🙁 None-the-less, God has provided medicine in the trees & weeds in every corner of the world that are available to us all.

        • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

It’s remarkable to me that the plant medicines most needed in various geographies are the most prevalent in those areas. God is good.

  5. Scott says:

We use a tincture formulation that we came up with containing about 9 different herbs (that also seems to help smokers a lot, too), herbal teas and shower bombs, as well as our own formulation of elderberry syrup. Herbs are way better than anything over-the-counter, any day.

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

Yup. There are a number of herbs that do a number on corona and other respiratory viruses.
I’ve never been bombed while showering. Sounds like an adventure. :0)

  6. Pam says:

Hey Doc, I love you! Always making learning fun and informative. The traits of a masterful teacher that loves what he does! You are my favorite and not just because you live in Idaho. Your straight forward approach brings in the home run every time. So glad you and your smooch partner are on the mend. God Bless you both! Kind regards from Canada.

  7. Pat Hinckley says:

Love reading your posted information. Besides being truthful, practical. and ‘healthy’, You add a sense of humor we all need these days.

  8. Marge Mogelnicki says:

Thank you, Doctor Jones, for sharing your Covid adventure story. I am amazed at all you have gone through in the last year, your move, brain tumor and surgery, and, recently, Covid! You are a survivor and a great example for all of us. Wishing you great health and continued access to all our green friends.
    Thanks again, ❤️

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

We’ve actually done 7 moves this year between businesses and ourselves. But who’s counting. LOL
I won’t mention that in the last 12 months, we’ve also done five major building re-models between houses, vet clinics, midwife/naturopath clinics and herb facilities. Cuz then you’d know I was crazy. I was supposed to write a couple of books this year…maybe this winter things will settle a little and I can get something done. :0?

      • Gudrun says:

I know you ARE crazy, but that is why I am rather fond of you!!!!! 7 moves and building projects, a head surgery and your normal work, not bad! but you are still a young guy! Stay like that!
Yes, I contemplated Ivermection, because you know the price will just go through the roof now. Decided that I have plenty of plants and dried some Sweet Annie, just in case! Jesus is my redeemer and my healer and God gave us all the plants we need – we just need to know them 🙂 Thanks for your super info, as always in your special humorous way. You ROCK!!! Tell your wife, from one woman to another, she should listen to her smooching partner a bit more 🙂 he knows his plants!

        • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

She’s a good listener…I just need to figure out a way to slow her down so she can notice that she’s actually sick. LOL

  9. M Gold says:

Love all your advice. I to did herbs and a homeopathic medicine and beat covid too. It did leave me with blood clots that almost took me out 3 months later but I beat that too with out oxygen ( which I really needed ) or hospitalization.

  10. Karen Davis says:

I’ve been wondering how you and your smooch partner was getting along! My daughter’s family all had it. Daughter and girls all dud great, son in law not so good. Their factor prescribed Ivermectin and Singulair for the entire family. He had added medicines thrown in and I just so happened to have the cytokine balance tincture, and gave it to her. After 2 weeks she said his lungs are getting a bit stronger now. As for my smooch partner and I, we have had unusual amount of rain, which made weeds grow, allergies led to severe sinus infection, but getting better.

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

Glad you’re all doing well. Take a little cayenne tincture. If that doesn’t clear out your sinuses, nothing will. :0)

  11. Cheryl Gimmeson says:

Thanks for the great article and for sharing your experiences with us. When I got COVID I used the respiratory kit as well.

  12. Marianne Yates says:

Thank you, Dr Jones. My 7 year old grandson also enjoys the humor in your books! Thanks for putting the immunity class, this weekend, available for viewing later and on canvas. I enjoy visiting your store, always treated great by your family and employees. I also appreciate your time and help! Glad everyone is doing well!

  13. Dr. Patrick Jones says:

One of the problems with the medical profession is that they hav become very protocol driven. It used to be a doctor would give you the medicine you needed to help you regardless of what the label said. It was called extra-label drug use. Veterinarians still do it all the time. Now days it seems doctors will often only give you what their corporation’s flow chart says they can give you. Very sad.

  14. Penny says:

I’m pretty sure I learn more information from your posts, with your humor splattered throughout, than from any dry lecture or bragging speaker who claims to know lots but doesn’t know how to impart in an interesting, rememberable way. Thanks Doc for your information, your humor & your vast array of knowledge & products!!!

  15. Christie Shaw says:

Thank you, Doc Jones! I feel so blessed to have found your videos and online store. Your tinctures have been so beneficial to my family and I. Grape leaf is awesome for when the rona makes a bad turn. It’s too bad more people don’t know about these wonderful herbs. I’m looking forward to joining your school- it’s time for me to go through all your courses. Thank you and God bless.

  16. Amanda says:

I’m no where near as versed in herbs as you are (or as I would like to be), but we saw the same results last year when we went through covid. I was visiting my parents with the kids and got suck there for 3 weeks. As soon as we got there and realized my dad was sick, the kids and I started taking elderberry and probiotic foods every day. My mom started feeling some symptoms, so she started taking it too. (Dad continued with his conventional OTC drugs). Mom was in bed all the next day, but continued taking the elderberry. By the next day, she was still tired, but was almost symptom free. By time I came down with it, I honestly thought it was just allergies from things coming into bloom until I was cooking bacon and couldn’t smell it. Started taking smaller, frequent does of elderberry, ate lots of garlic and cayenne tea for some sinus stuffiness. Had a slightly plugged ear for a day. End of story. Kids never even got a sniffle. Meanwhile, dad was still coughing and sleeping all day and feeling terrible… (I should also mention that my mom had preexisting health conditions including asthma and recurrent pneumonia.)
I firmly believe God’s medicine is what made the difference!

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

That’s a good protocol. Elder is pretty good at thumping influenza and coronaviruses. Garlic is a good immune stimulant too. Cayenne is great for clearling up the sinuses. You don’t have to know a bazilion herbs Amanda. You just have to know what you know about the ones you have…lots of ways to skin a cat. :0)

Doc, sometimes married people suffer from spousal deafness. It happens, often when you least expect it. Another person’s spouse can say exactly the same thing to the party suffering from spousal deafness, and for some reason, the message penetrates. The ears are unstopped, and the formerly spousal deafness spouse excitedly tells his/ her spouse what s/ he learned from other married person.

I used to get upset when my husband exhibited signs of spousal deafness yet could hear the exact message someplace else. Then, I realized I should just be glad he ultimately heard the message.

I suspect he feels the same way when I have a bout of spousal deafness.

We each typically refrain from applying the “I told you so” medicine. We have found the adverse event of massive irritation too great in each of us. Results may vary, of course

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

My sweetheart hears me pretty well. It’s just really tough to get her to slow down long enough to admit she’s sick and take her goodies. She’s an Idaho farm girl and sitting still isn’t her forte. LOL

  18. Susan Higa says:

So very grateful for a doc like you Doc Jones. You have the exact healing tools – herbs and humor. There’s hope and sanity still in humanity. Thank godness. Hallelujah. Thank you.

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

I’ve found that the God that made this lovely spinning rock has given us some really wonderful tools to feel better while we’re living on it.
I can’t take much credit for any of it. Mostly I point at weeds and crack jokes. The Designer of the weeds should get all the credit. :0)

  19. Laura says:

I am relieved to hear that you and your wife came through this okay, especially since you have recently recovered from other health challenges. I am curious if you are vaccinated and what your thoughts are on that. As someone who is new to learning about the possibilities of these green friends, lol, I do however find the long list of remedies that you required a bit overwhelming.

  20. Dr. Patrick Jones says:

Yup. I agree. Ivermectin has been used in a lot of viral outbreaks in India, Africa etc…(They have better viruses than we do). I wasn’t aware that they’d done some good human trials with it on Covid folks. That’s good news.

I’d still recommend that folks use the human form rather than the de-lousers or injectable cattle forms…unless they weigh 2000 lbs and are wrapped in boot leather. :0)

  21. Michele Nutter says:

Thank you for sharing about your “adventure”. 🙂
A little over a month ago my son, his pregnant wife, and their 1.5 year old came for a weekend visit. They are in the process of purchasing a home and staying with his in-laws who live near my son’s work/their new house in the time being. They left our house on a Sunday and when they got to the in-laws house, Dad in Law had come home from church and went to bed sick. Yes. Covid. They all got it within the week. My son had a few herbs around from Momma~~I’d just sent him back with a bottle of elderberry tincture…plus I listed a few kitchen herbs that might be helpful during their quarantine. The virus went through the family and they were sick to varying degrees~~Mother in Law and Wife were the worst, it seems~~while their 1.5 year old only ever slept more than usual and was cranky~~no coughing or anything like that. They were all back to life within 2 weeks.
My son said he was making a special place in their new home for an herbal pantry. They had little room in their previous house and have lots of space in the new one. He was glad to have what herbs he did have on hand, but confessed that he should have “loaded up” while he was home for a visit. The older he gets, the smarter I get. 😉
I know that the Lord had a hand in my finding your school. While I still consider myself a newbie herbalist, I am confident that I can care for my family during such illnesses as corona viruses, etc. I am building an apothecary with a minimum of 2 (and usually more as I am a ‘more is more’ type of person) herbal medicine choices for any illness, injury, etc. that I can think of (flu, cold, fever, burns, scrapes, pain, insomnia, etc.).
My husband and I had a conversation the other night and I asked him to name a common illness or issue that we couldn’t treat at home. I wasn’t talking about a broken leg, sudden heart attack (although…cayenne…), etc., but your run of the mill run to the doctor types of things. We couldn’t think of one. That. Felt. GREAT!
God bless you for sharing your know how!

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

There really are very few things we can’t address ourselves with herbs. I raised 15 kids and we had only two doctor visits in those 30 years. One had had a big seizure for no particular reason and the other was one of my Haitian kids that developed blisters all over his hands and feet. I was concerned that he might have some exciting tropical vesicular disease so took him across the street to the doctor. Turns out it was just Herpes simplex, the cold sore virus having more fun than usual…rats, I should have just put some lemon balm on it. LOL

On the other hand, my own life has been saved twice by doctors. Once from a ruptured appendix and earlier this year from a fun brain tumor that was about to squish my pituitary gland. Doctors are phenomenal mechanics and amazing diagnosticians. We’re lucky to have them. And nurses are even more amazing with the compassion and care they give. But other than brain tumors and ruptured innards, I’ve been able to manage things pretty well with the plants growing in my yard.

  22. Dr. Patrick Jones says:

Technically only a piece of string soaked in cow pus from a cowpox lesion and poked into a small cut on one’s arm is a true “vaccine”. The word vaccine is from the latin vaccina the feminine form of vaccinus “pertaining to a cow”. So, linguistically, if you pet a cow you could also say you are “vaccinated“. Maybe we could take a cow to the airport with us so everyone on the plane could be “vaccinated”. :0)

Note: I have no problem with use of injections to increase antibodies to prevent disease. I just think it’s linguistically scandalous and false advertising to pretend they came from a cow!

  23. jackievb says:

Hi Doc. Thanks for all of the wonderful information you continue to provide.
I bought a Respiratory Preparedness kit a number of months ago and thankfully have not had to use it yet but I’m wondering how long -or- how many uses you can expect to get out of the kit? The kit I bought is the 4oz size but I am thinking I need to have another one on hand for extended family members – but since I’m the one having to purchase the kit I am wondering how many people you can expect to treat with a kit? I know it’s hard to say because each person is different and so will be the severity of their illness etc.. but I’m just trying to get an idea. Plus, I am storing them in a cool dark place in the box they came in but I don’t know if they loose their efficacy once opened.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    ~Jackie

Never mind – I just saw in your “How to use HomeGrown Herbalist Respiratory Formulas” info sheet where you state: “So, a 2 oz tincture will typically get one adult through a single illness”
Looking forward to the Herbal Mastery Weekend event this weekend 🙂

  24. David says:

Wasn’t there some weekly TV show back in the 1960’s “The FIB” with Effram Herbalist Jr? Some kind of herbal superhero type that went around arresting nasty health conditions? Anyway, Doc, I think you got it mostly right, but OTOH do a real disservice in pooh poohing Ivy Mectin. She has saved lives, after all. Yeah, herbs mo’ bettah though… way bettah…

    • Dr. Patrick Jones says:

I didn’t poo-poo Ivermectin at all. I just said it’d be smart to get the human form rather than the delousers and cattle wormers to avoid risk. I think the studies are there to show it’s effective.
On the other hand, I did only use herbs and did just as well so if that’s poo-pooing i guess I’m guilty as charged. :0)

      • David says:

‘No worries, mate’. Doc, I am so glad the herbs worked for you, In fact, if I had both options in front of me, I would try the herbs first. I have great faith and confidence in my natural immune system, plus I do trust the proven ability of medicinal herbs to mediate when needed. I’m pretty healthy. No symptoms so far- and it’s been a year and a half now. Not bad for an older guy.

  25. Sandy Young says:

I’m looking forward to the weekend classes. I’ll have to refrain from delivering some of my baled herbs (hay) so that I can attend some or all of the classes. I love the way you teach!!! So much fun to learn from you. A famous horseman I know called it “Edu-tainment” instead of education.

  26. Annalisa says:

Hi Doc, so glad to hear that you & Mrs. Smooches are feeling better!
I bought the Respiratory Preparedness kit around April 2020. Several times I have used 3 of the tinctures from the kit when I felt that “weird feeling” in the back of my throat, and each time the feeling was gone by morning.
So glad you point at weeds and crack jokes! I’m looking forward to the seminar this weekend!
    Best wishes,
    Annalisa

  27. Chris says:

Thanks for all you do Doc! I’m dealing with Autoimmune disorder called Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP) due to having Covid 19 back in mid March. I’m currently getting infusions bi-weekly of IVIG which is helping to keep platelet count up a bit but still way below normal. I’ll definitely tune in this weekend as I see you’ll be talking about the immune system but wasn’t sure if you would be addressing this issue as I’m not the only one suffering from this infliction due to Covid. I was wondering if you had any specific recommendations that may help get my immune system from taking out my platelets.

PS, I do credit Ivermectin for saving my life as I was really struggling to breath 3 days into Covid and was skeptical about Ivermectin but was desperate and took it. Within 12 hours I was able to breath much better and things turned around. I’ll be ordering more herbs as well but all I could get at the time was the Ivermectin + D and Zinc.

  28. Laura Adkins says:

Thanks, Doc!! My husband and I had the virus back in November and we used several of your protocols including elderberry and we lived! I agree with you, it is way better to have the herb blends on hand so I’m getting an order together.

Thank you so much for the helpful information and the wonderful way you present it! I always have to chuckle as I read or watch your videos! I do have a question for you. My husband & I live in Manitoba, Canada. We also both work with seniors (Supportive Housing and Home Care) and are seniors ourselves, over 60. We were mandated to get the vaccine or be tested every 48 hrs. We finally gave in to their ‘bullying’ and had our second Pfizer jab today. I’m more concerned about it then I ever was about getting c-19. Any helpful herbs and advice to those of us who felt pushed into getting the jab? Thanks again for all you do! God bless you!

Hi Doc! you are such a breath of fresh air, drink of cool spring water on a hot day! so nice to have someone of your abilities agree and spread the word! I just keep telling people to build their immune system for prevention of the corona viri(??) (never did get a good answer on the plural of virus). The pressure to get the jab for my teacher friends and other healthcare friends is so awful. What I heard from some other docs is do the same things after that you would do before you get the jab. So I add: whatever you do, do by faith! God can give you wisdom for helping yourself if you get the adverse reactions listed. It would make sense to acknowledge the natural immunity for those who get the sickness rather than demand a jab! wake up world! did you write the article for long haulers? I know some of them too!

I too got Covid. I was glad to have your tinctures. I have had it for just over two weeks. At first it did not seem to affect my lungs but I still have a cough and sniffles but not bad. I feel a little something in the lungs. I still take the Respiratory Exp and that seems to help.

Please give my deep thanks to your sweetie for being the control group in this clinical trial so we have a comparison. 🙂 A clinical trial is much more helpful with a control group. 😉

I wish I had known about your website and podcast over a year ago. It could have saved us money, stress, and my husband’s health. He was hospitalized in September of 2021, supposedly with Covid (they never tested him). No one was allowed to visit him and the whole month long nightmare nearly cost him his life. What he had was a serious respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia almost overnight, leaving him less than 10% lung capacity. Needless to say, the hospital protocols included putting him on Remdesivir. Thankfully, he did not receive more than 5 doses and I truly believe it is only by the grace of God that he was not intubated and somehow gained back enough lung capacity to come home. He was on oxygen at home for another 2 months. Through my limited herbal knowledge and studying up on breathing exercises, he was off oxygen by Thanksgiving last year and had regained much of his health back. He had lost 85 pounds in less than 10 days in the hospital, had bed sores, had come dangerously close to being intubated, and the Remdesivir damaged his kidneys. Now we are a little over a year later and his lungs are still easily congested and when his oxygen levels drop, his kidneys hurt. Had I known then, what I know now, he never would have gone to the hospital and would not have the continuing issues with his lungs and kidneys.
Thank you for being a voice of reason on the Covid related topics and for being a God send with sharing your knowledge of herbs. I am learning so much from your YouTube channel and your blogs and I am saving up to take your classes. Please keep fighting the good fight and educating the world with your wisdom and experience. I pray that many more people are able to learn from you and that they do not have to experience the horror that we went through because of misinformation and a naïve trust in a very broken medical industry that has become a detriment to so many peoples’ lives.
